OPACI-COAT-300®: A Risk Mitigation Strategy for Thermal Stress Breakage (ICD201)
Silicone Water-Based Coating Education
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course will provide education about the risk of thermal stress breakage in spandrel glass applications. Attendees will learn about ceramic frit’s weakening effects on heat-treated glass. Testing methodology and industry standards will also be addressed. The OPACI-COAT-300® silicone water-based coating will be introduced as a strategy to reduce risk of thermally induced breakage in glass facades.
